The CSR Centre formallypublished its annual CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility)report titled “Report on CSR in Bangladesh 2018: Achieving Impact through CSR Action” on Monday, at Dhaka’s Hotel Westin.
This year’s report highlights how CSR benefits businesses, as well as the greater society through strategic corporate engagement, by using impact-oriented actions. The report further emphasizes on how Bangladesh can improve the well being of the society, and strengthen sustainability through youth engagement.
Through its report, the CSR Centre disseminates how corporations are engaged in CSR programs and projects in Bangladesh and abroad.
Participating in the event, High Commissioner of Australia in Bangladesh Julia Niblett, Executive Director of United Trust Brig General AJM Fazlur Rahman (Retd), Deputy Representative of UNICEF Bangladesh Sheema Sen Gupta, Secretary Ministry of Social Welfare Zillar Rahman, CEO of CSR CentreShahamin S Zaman, spoke at apanel discussion.
Chairman of the CSR Centre Board of Trustees Farooq Sobhan moderated the panel discussion.
