In a bid to increase customer satisfaction and after sales service in remote areas, Samsung Electronics Bangladesh has launched two movable service vans in Rajshahi and Rangpur.
Once a customer in either of the two divisions registers a complaint with the Samsung customer care centre, engineers will use the service vans to travel to the customer’s home and provide onsite assistance, said a Samsung press release.
The service will be available for customers of Samsung home appliances bought from Samsung brand shops and other authorized distributors in eight different locations of Rajshahi and nine different locations of Rangpur.
Samsung Electronics Bangladesh Managing Director Seungwon Youn, Head of Consumer Electronics Firoze Mohammad, Head of Customer Satisfaction Tanveer Shahed, Transcom Electronics Limited Chief Operating Officer Arshad Huq, Head of Business Yeamin Sharif Chowdhury and Fair Solutions Ltd Director Khandaker Hafiz were present at the launching ceremony.
Samsung Electronics Bangladesh Managing Director Seungwon Youn said: “Samsung is working relentlessly to ensure highest customer satisfaction with its innovative products and best in class aftersales service. For this reason with the launch of service vans we will be able to provide Samsung’s best in class service to the doorsteps of customers based in the remote areas of Rajshahi and Rangpur.
“This initiative is the first of its kind in Bangladesh so far for home appliances and we plan to launch similar initiatives throughout other remote areas of Bangladesh to ensure maximum support for Samsung’s customers.”
