Ahoy Bangladesh to help patients travelling to India
Ahoy Bangladesh Limited has been launched to provide services to  Bangladeshis seeking medical treatment in India. The launching of the service is expected to make the travel easier and hassle-free. The services have been launched in association with Ahoy India, a pioneer in Medical Value Travel Company in India. High Commissioner of India in Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla inaugurated Ahoy Bangladesh on March 16 at the Gulshan Club in Dhaka. Ahoy Bangladesh aims to provide all assistance for a person seeking medical treatment in India before during and after hospitalisation. “A common mistake is that, they go on a tourist visa and end up having to return without treatment as no hospital in India, as per rules, will treat a patient without a valid medical visa,” said Managing Director of Ahoy Bangladesh Saif Uddowlah. “We offer tailor-made medical services for our customers, starting from getting reviews of the doctors in India to follow-up with the doctor after your visit, including all the necessary travel arrangements,” he added. Ahoy Bangladesh will support a patient seeking treatment in India right from departure from Bangladesh, during their treatment in India and all the way back till they arrive in Bangladesh. They will recommend doctors, and hospitals as per the treatment requirement including the respective doctor’s appointment in India. Ahoy Bangladesh will also complete all the documentations required for the medical visa, submit and collect the documents from Indian Visa Application Centers.
