US-Bangla Airlines will launch a Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka flight on March 1 this year. The company is also set to launch the Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka route on March 9.
Imran Asif, CEO of US-Bangla Airlines, disclosed the news at a press conference today in a hotel in the capital.
The Kuala Lumpur flight will leave Dhaka on March 1 at 8pm (local time) on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft and reach at 2am Kuala Lumpur time. The flight will leave Kuala Lumpur at 3 am and land at Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport at 5am Dhaka time. These flights will run daily except on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, from March 9, US-Bangla will operate a Singapore flight every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This flight will leave Dhaka at 11 pm (local time) and reach Changi Airport at 5:15 am Singapore time. It will leave Singapore at 6:15 am (local time) and land around 8:30 am Dhaka time.
The minimum fare for the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flight has been set at Tk20,499, and for the return ticket, Tk27,999, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges. The Dhaka-Singapore fare has been fixed initially at Tk19,999, with the return flight being Tk31,999.

US-Bangla plans to operate flights in Bangkok, Guangzhou, Doha, among other destinations, very soon.
The airline began operations on July 17, 2014 with two Dash 8 Q-400 aircrafts, and a Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft was added later to its fleet.
Presently, US-Bangla Airlines has three Dash 8 Q-400 aircrafts and two Boeing 737-800 aircrafts. Another Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be added to its fleet by February 24 this year.
In its two-and-half years of operation, US-Bangla Airlines has successfully run over 20,000 domestic and international routes, which stands as a landmark in Bangladesh’s aviation industry.
The airline operates three daily flights on the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar route and three on the Dhaka-Jessore route. Moreover, it operates six daily Dhaka-Chittagong flights, two Dhaka-Saidpur flights, and one Dhaka-Sylhet flight. It also runs three weekly flights on the Dhaka-Barisal and Dhaka-Rajshahi routes.
US-Bangla operates international flights as well to Kathmandu, as well as Muscat and Kolkata.
