Along with others, some high officials of Airtel also accepted the Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS). They are-Ashraful H Chowdhury, chief corporate affairs officer, Rubaba Dowla, chief service officer and Sakib Sikder, head of legal.
Those who had applied for VSS would get their payment according to the Court order. The employees of Airtel who accepted voluntary retirement scheme (VRS) would get the full payment within 60 days of amalgamation of Robi-Airtel.
The merged entity would start the payment from the first day of amalgamation as it is waiting for the official letter from the regulator to complete the process, said officials.
