Nur Hossain on remand in Kolkata
An Indian court has placed Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the Narayanganj sensational seven-murder case, on an eight-day remand. Edwin Lepcha, second judicial magistrate in North 24 Parganas district court at Barasat, granted the remand as Paschimbanga police produced Nur with a 14-day remand plea.

ACC sues 17, excludes Rana
The Anti-Corruption Commission has filed a case against 17 people including parents of Sohel Rana for their alleged involvement with construction irregularities in building the nine-storey Rana Plaza that collapsed on April 24 last year. ACC deputy director SM Mofidul Islam filed the case with Savar police station on Sunday afternoon.

MERS detected first time in Bangladesh

Woman allegedly raped by husband, nine others
A tribal woman was allegedly gang-raped by 10 men, including her husband, in Madhya Pradesh's Bhilai Borkhedi village on Tuesday. She was also allegedly made to drink urine and paraded semi-naked in the village, reports NDTV.
