Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel have seized a high-explosive Indian-made live grenade, a 9mm single shooter pistol loaded with one bullet from inside a passenger bus in Beanpole port area of Jessore on Thursday night.
Director of 26 Border Guard Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Matiur Rahman told Dhaka Tribune: “Acting on a tip-off, BGB members raided the Jessore-bound passenger bus and recovered the live grenade and the pistol at 8pm. Both the high-explosive grenade and the pistol were made in India.”
