Kamrul en route to Sylhet
Kamrul Islam, the prime accused in Samiul Alam Rajon murder case, is now being taken to Sylhet after his extradition, said AIG (Media) Nazrul Islam to Bangla Tribune Thursday afternoon. The AIG said Kamrul would be produced before the Sylhet court.
MP Liton sent to jail
A Gaibandha court has rejected the bail petition filed by Awami League MP Manjurul Islam Liton and sent him to jail in a case filed for shooting a child in the leg. Gaibandha Chief Judicial Magistrate Moinul Hassan Yusuf passed the order on Thursday afternoon.

Khijir Khan murder suspects remanded
