Salahuddin's wife will seek PM's intervention

Missing BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed's wife Hasina Ahmed says she will seek Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's intervention to get back her husband. 

Even children not spared

Children have not been spared of the ongoing political unrest as they fall victims to the acts done by the pro-blockade and hartal activists or the administrative actions to tame the violence.

In the last two months, children have been shot, burnt, slaughtered, maimed, arrested and beaten.

Fire burns 5 courier service offices at CEPZ

Offices of five international courier services have been burnt as a fire broke out at the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ).

Md Jasim Uddin, deputy assistant director of Chittagong Fire Service, said the fire originated from the office of DHL Courier Service around 11am on Tuesday.

‘This murder is an attack on Bangladesh’

BNP-backed panel re-elected in SCBA polls

The BNP-backed Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad has swept the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) election.
