Grameenphone announces 7 Telenor Youth Forum finalists

From the TYF Grand Finale, two winners will get a chance to attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, in December

Grameenphone on Thursday announced names of the seven finalists for Telenor Youth Forum Grand Finale 2018. 

Over 1400 applications were screened, of which 60 applicants were selected. The candidates presented their ideas from September 4 to 5 at Grameenphone House in the city’s Bashundhara Residential Area. The winners moved on to the TYF Grand Finale.  

The TYF finalists are the following students: BRAC University’s Tasneem Omar Ava; Institute of Business Administration’s (IBA) (Dhaka University) Sameen Alam, and Syed Sameen Shahrear ; Bangladesh University of Professionals’ (BUP) Tarek Musanna, and  Md Nazib Intesar; Institute of Business Administration’s (IBA, Jahangirnagar University) Sabiha Saju Ibne Abedin, and Institute of Business Administration’s (IBA, Army) Iftekher Mahmud. 

From the TYF Grand Finale, two winners will get a chance to attend the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway, in December.

The Telenor Youth Forum is conducted in partnership with the Nobel Peace Centre every year. This year’s theme for the grand event is “Bright Minds Reducing Inequalities.”
