He stressed the importance of prioritizing economic diplomacy
State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam has said that the government will continue to take effective steps to address pending issues; including resolving the Rohingya crisis.
He said this to reporters at his office on Tuesday, reports UNB.
The state minister said: “Everything is our priority.”
Additionally, he stressed the importance of prioritizing economic diplomacy.
Shahriar Alam expressed his hope that the Rohingya repatriation process, based on the agreed list of verified Rohingyas, will begin soon.
Responding to a question, he remarked that efforts will continue to extradite convicted BNP leader Tarique Rahman, because the government believes in the rule of law.
