Ruhul Amin replaces Abul Mansur Md Faizullah as Petrobangla's chief
In the latest reshuffle in the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation, known as Petrobangla, Md Ruhul Amin has been appointed as its chairman.
Before taking helm at hisnew workplace on November 29, he had been serving as the additional secretary in the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, a press release issued on Saturday said.
According to the press release, Ruhul Amin replaced Abul Mansur Md Faizullah as the corporation's chief.
He had earlier also served as a former director (administration) of Petrobangla.
The new Petrobangla chairman joined public service in 1988. During his long and versatile career, he served as Upazilla Nirbahi Officer, additional deputy commissioner, deputy commissioner (DC) of Pirojpur and divisional commissioner of Chittagong.
Ruhul, a Dhaka University graduate, also served in the ministriesof home, industry, shipping, commerce and finance, and the Internal Resources Division in different prestigious positions.
