Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that conspirators are still active in carrying forward the politics of killing and murder, both at home and abroad.
He made the comments at a discussion organized by the Mohila Awami League observing National Mourning Day on Tuesday afternoon.
Quader joined the meeting virtually as the chief guest.
The Awami League general secretary also urged everyone to be vigilant so that the massacres of August 15 and 21 do not happen again.
Pointing to BNP-Jamaat, he said the politics of killing, terrorism, conspiracies and communalism came into Bangladesh through their hands.
Quader said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken a firm stance against improprieties and corruption.
President of Mohila Awami League Safia Khatun chaired the meeting while the Awami League Joint General Secretary A F M Bahauddin Nasim, Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua, and Women Affairs Secretary Meher Afroz Chumki, spoke at the discussion.
