He said the challenge for the new generation is to ensure there is no resurfacing of terrorism
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSaD) President Hasanul Haque Inu has said BNP, a companion of communal powers Jamaat and war criminals, should be completely banned from the political arena.
He said the party should be removed to maintain peace in the political arena and celebrate the silver jubilee of Bangladesh's independence with an assurance that there will be no government which is backed by war criminals.
Hasanul Haque Inu made the statement after paying tributes to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Mausoleum in Savar on Monday morning.
He also said the challenge for the new generation is to ensure there is no resurfacing of terrorism, which the government has fought over the last ten years under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
Good governance should be established by turning towards development and reducing inequalities, he added.
It was a commendable step to republish the war criminal list as the new generation will now be aware of their names, said the JaSaD president.
