Ruling Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is currently in a meeting with central leaders of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League.
The meeting began at the prime minister's official residence at Ganabhaban in Dhaka around 5pm on Sunday.
Sheikh Hasina is expected to discuss various issues in the meeting, including the youth front's upcoming council, also referred as congress, scheduled to be held on November 23.
However, the Jubo League Chairman Omar Faruk Chowdhury, and presidium members -- Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shawon, Sheikh Fazlur Rahman Maruf, and Sheikh Atiur Rahman Dipu -- were not invited at the meeting.

In absence of the chairman, Jubo League General Secretary M Harunur Rashid is leading the delegation.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to provide necessary guideline to the Jubo League leaders on taking preparation for its upcoming national council.
The meeting is also expected to set an age limit for the Jubo League's upcoming committee members to be elected by the council.
The meeting will also discuss ways of rebuilding the image of the organization, which have long been involved with controversies for irregularities by many of its leaders.
