A new committee of Jagannath University unit of Chhatra Union has been announced.
KM Muttaki of the English department was appointed the president, while Khairul Hasan of the Finance department was appointed as the general secretary.
The announcement was made at the conclusion of the 28th council of Chhatra Union held on Thursday.
MN Junayed and Shabab Alam Shanid were appointed as vice-presidents. The 17-member committee will also have Jannatul Ferdous Srishti as the general secretary.
Mrittika Sarker was made the organizational secretary.
