'The country’s democracy is not yet out of danger as BNP-Jamaat and terrorist networks are hatching conspiracies to ruin the democracy'
Awami League Presidium Member Mohammed Nasim has said the BNP-Jamaat alliance is hatching conspiracies to destroy the country’s democracy.
“The country’s democracy is not yet out of danger as BNP-Jamaat and terrorist networks are hatching conspiracies to ruin the democracy,” he said at an iftar event organized by the 14-party alliance at the AL president’s Dhanmondi office on Saturday, reports BSS.
Mohammad Nasim also called upon all to remain alert so that conspirators can never be successful.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President Hasanul Haq Inu, Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, AL Organizing Secretary Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, AL leaders Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Bir Bikram, Shajahan Khan and Advocate Qamrul Islam, Jatiya Party Secretary General Sheikh Sahidul Islam, Gono Azadi League President SK Shikder, Dhaka City South AL General Secretary Shahe Alam Murad and journalist Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, among others, also addressed the participants.
The Awami League-led 14-party alliance will hold rallies and discussions against political violence, terrorism, and militancy at the divisional and district levels, he reiterated.
