He added that BNP has shown evidence of its failings as a political party
Ruling Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday said the public will not support BNP's ongoing political movement due to the party’s leaders’ ties to corruption.
"The public rejected BNP, in the 11th general election, as it is a political party full of corruption and criminals. People will not support them in the upcoming days either," he said at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, furthered that BNP’s inability to wage a strong political movement to ensure the release of its imprisoned Chairperson Khaleda Zia is evidence of its failings as a political party.
