“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is keen to do everything possible to expand businesses and attract foreign investment,” he added.

The home minister made the observations while addressing a function at the Dhaka Officers’ Club in the capital, organized to mark the foundation stone laying of unit 2 of Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Ltd.

“Drugs are a major obstacle in establishing a Bangladesh of possibility. We will do whatever is needed to eradicate this menace. Drugs are not produced in our country. Some crooked people smuggled these here,” he said.
