B Chy accepts PM’s invitation

A 23-member Jukta Front delegation to go to Ganabhaban on Saturday

A 23-member delegation of Jukta Front, led by its Chairman AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, will exchange greetings with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban on Saturday.

"Badruddoza Chowdhury has accepted the Prime Minister's invitation to exchange greetings at Ganabhaban over tea on February 2," said a press release issued by the Jukta Front chairman's press secretary on Tuesday.

It also read that separate invitation cards were sent from the Prime Minister's Office to B Chowdhury, the leaders of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh and Jukta Front on Monday, reports UNB.

Jukta Front took part the in the general election under the Awami League-led Grand Alliance, and bagged two seats.

On Saturday, Sheikh Hasina invited the Jatiya Oikya Front senior leaders to exchange greetings at Ganabhaban over tea along with the Bikalpa Dhara and Jukta Front.

However Oikya Front is yet to formally respond to the PM’s invitation.
