The forms will be available at the party chief’s political office at Dhanmondi
Ruling Awami League on Tuesday will distribute its nomination papers,among aspirants,for the reserved seats for women in the 11th parliament.
According to a media statement issued on Saturday, all aspiring women candidates have been asked to collect nomination papers from the Awami League president’s Dhanmondi political office in Dhaka from 10am Tuesday.
The ruling party top brass will also sit with its leaders and public representatives from Dhaka and five nearby districts on Sunday.
The joint meeting will begin at 11am at the Awami League’s central office in the capital's Bangabandhu Avenue, according to another press release.
The five districts are Gazipur, Narayanganj, Munshiganj, Manikganj and Narsingdi.
Presidents and general secretaries of the party's all district, city, upazila, thana and municipality units as well as MPs, city corporation and municipality mayors, and chairmen of district councils and upazila parishads from all six districts will join the meeting.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader will preside over the meeting, said the release.
