Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has revealed that if BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is indeed ill, she will be ensured proper treatment and will be sent abroad if necessary.
Obaidul made the statement on Friday after a meeting at the Awami League President's political office in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka.

“BNP Secretary General is strongly insisting that Khaleda Zia is ill in jail. She will be given proper medical treatment. She will not be treated unfairly because she is in jail. If necessary, we will send her abroad,” he said.
The Road Transport and Bridges minister also said they will follow the instructions given by Khaleda’s doctor. If the doctor deems it imperative, she will be sent aboard for better healthcare.
