Obaidul: Enemies of our liberation still active

General Secretary of the Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said those who opposed our independence and liberation war are still active today. The Awami League general secretary made the comments while speaking to journalists after paying tribute to our Martyrs at Savar National Martyr’s Memorial, on Independence Day, Monday. Talking about anti-liberation forces, he said: "Nowhere in the world are people allowed to engage in politics having acted against their country. It will not be wise to be lenient on them, for the betterment of the country.
