As part of the party's countrywide scheduled program, BNP leaders and activists will stage a sit-in in Dhaka on Thursday demanding the release of their Chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail.
The demonstration is scheduled to be held in front of the National Press Club from 11am to 12pm.
BNP's district and city units will also hold similar programs across the country at their convenient time and venues.
On Tuesday, the party leaders and activists had formed a human chain at Press Club in the capital seeking Khaleda's release.
On Sunday, the party had announced the two-day-long countrywide fresh programs, including the human chain.
After the jailing of Khaleda, the party observed different peaceful programs, including leaflet distribution, countrywide demonstration, human chain formation, sit-in, token hunger strike and protest procession, in five phases demanding her release.
On February 8, the BNP chief was sent to jail after a special court sentenced her to five years' imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case.
