The issue of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) by-polls is now in the court's hands, and the Awami League will not comment on this matter, the party's General Secretary Obaidul Quader said on Wednesday.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Awami League president's office in Dhanmondi. Dhaka around 12pm, he said: "We have already nominated our candidate for the by-polls. The High Court has postponed the election; we have nothing to say about the court’s decision. It is up to the court and the Election Commission to make further decisions regarding the by-polls."
