AL asks nomination seekers for Gaibandha-1 by-polls to collect forms

The Gaibandha-1 seat has remained vacant since the murder of Manjurul Islam Liton MP on December 31 last year.

A notification was issued from the party's office on Tuesday, asking for the prospective applicants to prepare their forms.The nomination seekers were asked to collect the nomination forms between 9am to 5pm on February 11, 12, and 13, submitting Tk25000 for each form with Dhanmondi party office.The notification added that a meeting of the party nomination board will be held at 7pm on February 13, presided by the prime minister and party chief Sheikh Hasina.The members of the board were also asked to attend the meeting at the specified time.
