Some important bills will be placed before the House in the session
The fourth session of the 11th national parliament begins at 5pm on Sunday.
Before the House goes into the session at 5pm, the Business Advisory Committee will sit in a meeting at 4pm to fix the duration and businesses of the session.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will chair the meeting.
Some important bills will be placed before the House and different contemporary national and international issues would dominate the discussions in parliament, a parliamentary secretariat source said.
President M Abdul Hamid convened the fourth session on August 21.
The third session (budget session) of the 11th parliament was prorogued on June 11. On June 13, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal placed the national budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year. During the 21 working days of the session, seven bills were passed. Also discussions were held on the budget.
