A total of 153 new buses already added to fleet
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the government has imported 600 new buses from India, in response to a query made by treasury bench lawmaker Benzir Ahmed in the parliament on Wednesday.
“Already, 153 buses have been added to the fleet of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) and the rest will be added to the service in phases,” said the minister, reports BSS.
At present, a total of 967 BRTC buses are now being run on different routes across the country.
