Parliament goes into session Sunday

On August 19, President Abdul Hamid convened the session

The 22nd session of the 10th Parliament will resume on Sunday after a 58-day recess.

It is likely to be the last session of the 10th parliament formed after the 2014 national election, reports UNB.

Before the House goes into session at 5pm, the business advisory committee of parliament will meet with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury to fix the duration and businesses of the coming session.

On August 19, President Abdul Hamid convened the session.

The 21st session of 10th Parliament was prorogued on July 12 last.
