All fishing boats and trawlers in North Bay and deep sea advised to proceed with caution till Wednesday morning
The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to the lower cautionary signal as squally weather is unlikely over the North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh since the deep depression over Odisha-Jharkhand and adjoining areas has weakened into a depression.
"The deep depression over Odisha-Jharkhand and adjoining area moved north-westwards further, weakened into a depression and was centred at 3pm today [Tuesday] over Chhattisgarh and adjoining area," said the met office in its latest weather bulletin on Tuesday evening.
It is likely to move in a north-westerly direction further and weaken gradually, it added.
All fishing boats and trawlers in the North Bay and deep sea have been advised to proceed with caution till Wednesday morning.
