One person died and two others were injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway on Saturday.
Police said a Dhaka-bound microbus overturned in the morning at Natiapara in Delduar upazila of Tangail.
The deceased has been identified as Rahat Ali, 20, a resident of Chapainawabganj, said Gorai highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mozaffar Hossain.

The vehicle overturned on the road as the driver lost control, leaving Rahat dead on the spot, said the police officer.
Two others — Nayeem Hossain, 30, and Robiul Islam, 28, residents of Chapainawabganj — were taken to Kumudini Hospital, added the police officer.
Police seized the microbus but the driver managed to flee, said OC Hossain.
