At least 10 people were injured in an attack on worshippers during Taraweeh prayers at a maqtab in Bairati village of Netrakona on Thursday.
Among the injured, Nurul Haq, Abdur Rashid, and Rakibul Islam Sadda were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
The attackers also attacked and looted several houses in the village and vandalized an autorickshaw.
According to local people, two groups led by Abdur Rauf and Hamidul Islam had an argument a few days ago over taking a threshing machine to dry rice.
Hamidul and his men beat up Abdur Rauf, his wife and mother last Wednesday following the argument.
Later, Abdur Rauf filed a case against Hamidul and his two sons with Kendua police station.
Police arrested Hamidul's son Titu Mia on Thursday evening in connection with the case.
Soon after the arrest, Hamidul and his men became enraged and carried out attack on Rauf's men during the Taraweeh prayers.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
Kendua police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Shah Newaz confirmed the incident and said a case was being prepared.
