The service also allows users to receive prescriptions along with medicine delivery from local pharmacies
Shohoz Health, a digital healthcare solution provided by Shohoz, is bringing physicians online in a bid to help people gain access to specialist doctors through videoconferencing from any corner of the country.
The current doctor-patient ratio in Bangladesh is only 5.26 per 10,000 persons, which places the country at the second bottom position in South Asia, according to the WHO.
On top of that, the Covid-19 pandemic has put an unprecedented amount of pressure on the country’s healthcare system.
In order to address the shortcomings, Shohoz is operating Shohoz Health, a tech-empowered solution, with over 150 medical specialists, says a press release issued on Sunday.
“Shohoz’s state-of-the-art digital healthcare app allows users to access specialist doctors through video-based affordable consultation.”
Besides consultations, the service also allows users to receive prescriptions along with medicine delivery from different local pharmacies, all under the Shohoz Super App.
