Awami League activist says BNP caused the incident sensing AL's win in upcoming municipal elections
Miscreants have hurled two cocktails at the Awami League office in Thakurgaon.
Advocate Mostak Alam Tulu, district Awami League joint secretary, said that the incident took place at noon on Tuesday.
Leaders and activists of the Awami League alleged that BNP activists had caused the incident after sensing the victory of the AL boat symbol in the upcoming municipal elections.
Toimur Rahman, president of the district BNP, denied the allegations of the Awami League.
No one was injured in the incident.
Thakurgaon police station Officer-in-Charge Tanvirul Islam said police were investigating the matter.
