A hearing impaired teenage girl has reportedly been gang-raped by six criminals, including a village policeman, in Faridganj upazila of Chandpur.
Police said the incident took place at Syedpur village under Subidpur Pashchim union of the upazila on January 11 evening.
The girl was picked up by village policeman Abdul Malek, easy bike driver Tito, Mizanur Rahman Ripon, Al Amin and Malek in the area while she was on her way to buy medicine.
The criminals raped the girl three times in the night. At first, they took the girl into a jungle and raped her there. Afterward they took her to the nearby union council building, where she was raped again by them. Later, she was dragged into the jungle again where they left her after rape.

Villagers rescued the girl in the morning in a critical condition and informed her family members.
When the incident was exposed, village arbitrators tried to cover up the incident. Informed by neighbors, police conducted a drive in the area.
On Monday, the mother of the girl filed a rape case with Faridganj police station, accusing six people.
The police arrested the four men involved in the incident yesterday.
Faridganj police station Officer-in-Charge Md Shahid Hossain said the arrested were sent to jail yesterday.
