He attributed the economy being active amid the pandemic to Sheikh Hasina
Bangladesh has become a role model of development for the world, says Jessore-3 MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed before adding there’s no alternative to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s leadership to continue the development spree
“The country has undergone tremendous development in the last 12 years. Bangladesh ranks 20th in the world considering 54 economic indicators.
“The country's economy is still running amid the pandemic. And all this has been possible only because of the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said on Friday.
MP Kazi Nabil made the remarks while speaking at the reception of Arabpur Union Parishad chairman-elect in Jessore on Friday afternoon.
He also said: “The prime minister is relentlessly working for the livelihood of the people. She believes that if the people of the country are happy the country will prosper and the economy will remain active. That is why she gives special attention to the rural infrastructure.”
Earlier in the day, the lawmaker distributed aid among the poor people in his Kazipara residence.
Later, MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the blanket distribution function organized by the District Jubo Mohila League.
He also inaugurated a voluntary blood donation program of a blood bank arranged at Bangabandhu's mural at Bakultala in the city.
The program was organized on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chhatra League by its Jessore district and Jessore University of Science and Technology units.
