A meeting between concerned bus owners and labourers is likely to take place on Saturday
All types of buses from Pabna to Dhaka have been stopped in protest of the beating of Pabna workers and obstruction of traffic in Shahjadpur of Sirajganj.
The Pabna Bus Owners and Workers Association announced the indefinite suspension of bus services from 9pm on Thursday.
Passengers have suffered due to the sudden bus strike.
Pabna District Motor Owners Group President Habibur Rahman Habib said bus workers in Shahjadpur, Sirajganj, have been frequently beating coaches and bus drivers of Pabna for no reason.
The owners and workers of Pabna did not get any result after seeking help from the concerned authorities.
He said the helper and the conductor of the Dhaka-bound Pabna Express were beaten at Shahjadpur in Sirajganj on Thursday. In protest of the incident, Pabna Bus Owners Association and District Motor Workers Union have stopped all Dhaka bound buses from Thursday night.

Pabna District Motor Workers Union President Firoz Khan said a meeting between bus owners and labour leaders of Pabna and Shahjadpur is scheduled for Saturday.
All types of Dhaka-bound buses will remain closed until the incident is resolved at the meeting.
Pabna Deputy Commissioner Kabir Mahmud said the administration is trying to resolve the transport strike on the basis of discussions with owners and workers of Sirajganj and Pabna.
