Intensity of winter likely to increase in Panchagarh

Cold wave caused suffering to the poor

Update : 17 Dec 2020, 03:02 PM

The northernmost district of the country, Panchagarh, is experiencing thick fog and cold waves as the temperature continues to decrease with the onset of winter. The lowest temperature was recorded in Tetulia on Thursday.

The roads continue to be covered in fog all day, and people can only see the sun for a moment in the afternoon. The temperature starts to drop as evening falls.

The thick fog causes people on the roads to get wet, so they burn straws to keep themselves warm. The poor are unable to get out of their houses.
