Officials of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) ICP camp have recovered two live bombs from Narayanpur village under Benapole Port police station.
The bombs were recovered from a deserted orchard of Dakkhinpara area of the village on Monday evening at around 4pm.
“We conducted a drive in the area on a tip-off and recovered the freshly made bombs,” said Subedar Ashraf Ali, commander of BGB ICP Camp of Benapole.
“However, the persons who had been making the bombs fled the spot sensing our presence. We handed over the bombs to Benapole Port Police officials,” added the officer.
