Previously the airline used to operate two daily flights to Sylhet
Country’s leading private airline US-Bangla will add one more daily flight to Sylhet responding to the rising demands of passengers.
Currently, US-Bangla operates two daily flights to Sylhet from Dhaka. It will start operating three flights to Sylhet from Sunday, read a press release published on Saturday.
People are starting to travel throughout the country be it for official or tourism purposes. The pandemic has become a backdrop to citizens’ lives.
Given that Sylhet is one of the tourism spots in the country, the airline is having to increase the number of flights to the city.
Everyday flights for Sylhet will leave Dhaka at 08:00am, 01:30pm, and 6:30pm. And from Sylhet, the flights will leave for Dhaka at 09:15am, 02:50pm, and 07:50pm.
Presently, in the domestic sector US-Bangla operates flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Saidpur, Rajshahi, and Barisal and the company internationally operates to Kolkata, Chennai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Guangzhou, Doha, and Muscat.
Now US-Bangla Airlines owns 13 aircraft in its fleet out of which four are Boeing 737-800, six are Brand New ATR 72-600, and three are DASH 8- Q400.
