Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur, Wahida Khanam, who was seriously injured in an attack by miscreants, has been transferred to the public administration ministry as an officer on special duty (OSD).
Her husband Md Mesbaul Hossain, who was the UNO of Pirganj upazila in Rangpur, has also been transferred to Dhaka, as a senior assistant secretary in the Ministry of Health.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday.
Both Wahida and her husband Mesbaul Hossain are 31st BCS officers.
Wahida was critically wounded when assailants broke into her government residence and attacked her in the early hours of September 3.
Her father, Omar Ali, 70, was also gravely injured that day when he tried to save his daughter.
