BGP picks up farmer in Naikhongchhari border

Discussions going on about bringing him back

Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP) has picked up a Bangladeshi man from Naikhongchhari border in Bandarban.

The man was identified as a farmer, Md Yusuf, 32, of Fultoli village in Naikhongchhari upazila.

The incident took place near pillar no. 47 on the no-man’s land in Fultoli-Jarulia villages on Monday.

Naikhongchhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sadia Afrin Kochi said BGP took the man while he was feeding his cow in the no man’s land. Discussions are going on with related authorities about bringing him back.
