Tanvir’s family urged the government to arrange for his body to be brought back home for a proper burial
A Bangladeshi man was shot dead by unidentified miscreants in South Africa on Thursday.
The deceased, Tanvir Ahmed Mukul, was from Ballabhpur in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Tanvir’s family was devastated hearing of his death from a relative living in South Africa, Thursday afternoon.
They urged the government to arrange for Tanvir’s body to be brought back home for a proper burial.
Tanvir migrated to South Africa and ran a business there to improve his family's financial condition.
Iqbal Hossain, Tanvir’s elder brother said, grief-stricken upon hearing of Tanvir’s death on Thursday afternoon, the family had stopped eating.
“Tanvir was the youngest of nine siblings and was loved the most by everyone. I never thought we would lose him like this.”
