In Pabna, miscreants shot Hukum Ali to death in Bharara Kha village in Sadar upazila.
The killers asked him to come out of his house on Friday night and shot him just after he stepped out, said Bharara Upazila Parishad (UP) chairman Abu Sayeed Khan.
Pabna Sadar police station OC Nasim Ahmed said the incident is under investigation.
In a separate incident, Mojnu was hacked to death by assailants in Madhupur village of the upazila on Friday night.
Quoting locals, Ataikula police station Inspector Shariful Islam said Mojnu was returning home after having a card game at a tea-stall in his village, when he was hacked to death.
In Moulvibazar, the woman and her daughter were hacked to death by some unknown assailants who broke into their home in Purba Jamsi village under Ashidron union of Sreemangal upazila, confirmed Inspector Md Sohel Rana, of Sreemangal police station.
He said their blood-soaked bodies were discovered at their house in the early hours of Friday.
"We are investigating the incident. Familial disputes had often occurred between the woman and her husband. We are suspecting he might be involved in the murder," added the Inspector.
He further said the woman’s husband lives in Beltali village under Sindurkhan union of the upazila.
Wahid Miya, son of Zaeda, said: "I was at my in-law's house and heard from my aunt that my mother and sister have been murdered."
