Two health complexes- Bishompur Upazila Health Complex and Jagannathpur Upazila Health Complex- in Sunamganj were placed under lockdown on Tuesday noon.
The move came after four health workers of the hospitals were found coronavirus positive, said Sunamganj Civil Surgeon Dr Shams Uddin.
Shams Uddin said: "The health workers might have been infected with the Covid- 19 while they were collecting samples from suspected coronavirus patients.
"The service in the health complexes will resume after disinfection and the infected health workers are now home quarantined," the Civil Surgeon added.
As of Tuesday morning, Sunamganj has reported 26 Covid-19 cases so far, according to health authorities.
