Samples were collected from the deceased to be tested to find out if he had contracted Covid-19
A boy died yesterday while undergoing treatment at the coronavirus isolation ward of 250-bed Mohammad Ali Hospital in Bogra.
The 13-year-old was admitted to hospital with respiratory problems and leg pains. He died around 7pm yesterday.
Hospital’s Resident Medical Officer Dr Shafiq Amin Kajal confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
He said two children, one boy and one girl, were admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward yesterday.
“The boy had been suffering from extreme leg pains and respiratory problems for the past week or so. His conditions deteriorated rapidly after he was admitted.”
Samples were collected from the deceased to be tested to find out if he had contracted Covid-19, he added.
