Rain likely across Bangladesh

Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the country from midnight to Saturday morning


Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that rain or thundershowers may occur in different parts of Bangladesh in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am Friday.

“Rain or thundershower are likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions, and at a few places over Rangpur division,” said a Met office bulletin issued Friday morning.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the country from midnight to Saturday morning, reports BSS.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may fall by 2 to 5°C over the country, the bulletin said.

The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 28°C in Dhaka, while Friday’s minimum temperature was 11°C in Tetulia.

The sun sets at 5:24 pm on Friday, and rises at 6:42 am on Saturday in Dhaka.
