Gazipur City Corporation will organize a discussion and reception to the freedom fighters of the area at Banga Taj Auditorium

Gazipur was freed from the Pakistani occupation forces on this day on December 15, 1971. The day is set to be observed in a befitting manner through different programs. 

Gazipur City Corporation will organize a discussion and reception to the freedom fighters of the area at Banga Taj Auditorium at 10 am today. 

Gazipur Sammilito Peshajibi Parishad and Gazipur Union of Journalists Union will organize a discussion at Gazipur Press Club. Besides, different cultural organizations will organize ‘bijoy mela’ at several places.

“Gazipur played a glorious role at the beginning of the Liberation War,” former Member of Parliament (MP) and Gazipur district Muktijoddha Commander Kazi Mozammel Haq told BSS.
