Not allowed to play, child goes to police to complain

The police were delighted to resolve the issue

A boy went to his local police station to complain after two of his neighbours scolded and forbade him to play in the local field in Nachol upazila of Chapainawabganj.

Second-grader Abdul Kaderi is a student of Asian School and College in Ghion area of Nachol Sadar union.

On Thursday afternoon, Abdul went to play in the local field with his friends and got into a spat with them.

Hearing them bicker, Momtaz Begum and Masuda Begum came and scolded Abdul for fighting with their sons and sent him home.

Young Abdul, heartbroken and unable to play, went to Nachol police station to complain.

In tears, Abdul brought complaints to OC Mahbubur Rahman of Nachol police station. Being moved by the emotional young boy, he took immediate action and warned the two women.

OC Mahubur Rahman said: "We were all astonished when the child came to the police station. This is the first time that a child came to a police station to file a complaint in Chapainawabganj. We are delighted to resolve the issue."
