This is the second time a female Bangladeshi worker has returned from KSA in a month, following Sumi Akter's return on November 15
A female Bangladeshi migrant worker, Hosna Akhter, has demanded severe punishment for the agent-broker following her return from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
She reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on a Saudi Airlines flight Wednesday night.
On Thursday, while talking to this correspondent, Hosna said: "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the government and the media agencies concerned who helped me return home.
"I was beaten, and denied daily meals on a regular basis. The housewife tortured me so much that I cannot even explain the horrific experience."
Hosna further said, she is preparing to file a case against the broker-agent, Shahin, who took Tk70,000 to send her to Saudi Arabia.
She said: "I want severe punishment for Shahin as he failed to fulfill any of his promises made to me or my family."
This is the second time a female Bangladeshi worker has returned from Saudi Arabia in a month, following Sumi Akter's return on November 15.
In the beginning of this month, Hosna, 24, went to Saudi Arabia to work as a domestic help through a recruiting agency, Arab World Distribution.
Later, she posted a video, pleading and describing her deplorable situation at her workplace, which went viral on Facebook.
On the contrary, to her expectation for financial stability, Hosna experienced severe beating and mental torture at her workplace.
Within one week of going to Saudi Arabia, Hosna sent a video to her husband Shafiullah, pleading her wish to return home. He immediately approached agency officials but met with strange demands. They spoke ill of Hosna's character, and demanded Tk1 lakh.
Anxious Shafiullah, in a desperate bid to save his wife, managed to post the video clip on Facebook.
